Biography

Jack Quaid is an American actor. He was born on 24th April 1992 in Los Angeles, California as the child of actors Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan. He grew up in Santa Monica, California, where he went to school. Following his parents’ divorce in 2001, Jack chose to stay with his mother.

Despite being the child of two Hollywood celebrities, Jack didn’t have a desire in pursing an acting career until a high school production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Following the success of the performance, he chose to do acting full–time as a career. He made his debut in 2012’s The Hunger Games, the feature–length adaption of the popular young–adult dystopian novel. He subsequently made a cameo return for the film’s sequel, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, as one of Katniss’s visions.

With The Hunger Games bringing him into the public eye, Jack next turned his attention to a series of independent films, including his own film Roadies, which was funded through donations on the crowdsourcing website Indiegogo.

Next, Jack took part in the limited run HBO series, Vinyl, where he portrayed a lead role. Afterward, he appeared in Steven Soderbergh’s heist comedy Logan Lucky, and starred as Jordan Welch in the horror comedy film Tragedy Girls.

Jack’s biggest role afterward came in 2018, when Deadline announced that Jack had been cast as Hughie Campbell in the Amazon Prime Video adaption of the popular dark comedy graphic novel, The Boys. The show and his performance both earned critical acclaimed, and the series has subsequently been renewed up to its third season. He also provides the voice of Ensign Brad Boimler in the Paramount+ animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks.

During the production break between the second and third seasons of The Boys, Jack was cast as Richie Kirsch in 2022’s Scream, the fifth film in the popular slasher series. The movie overtook Spider-Man: NO Way Home at the box office, and earned critical and audience acclaim.

Astrology & Name Meaning

Jack Quaid’s astrological sign is a Tauras.

Modality: Fixed sign
Element: Earth sign
Ruling planet: Venus
Represented by: The Bull

A Taurus born on April 24 is a sleek, sophisticated individual with a flair for the good life and a love of glamor. They are also talented, with a good sense of humor and the ability to laugh at themselves.

Fellow earth signs Virgo and Capricorn will love Taurus for how dependable, practical, and hardworking he is! Being like–minded earth elements, these signs value physical sensations and real–world displays of affection. They just ~get~ each other, y’know?

Taurus and Cancer also have a lot in common. Earth signs and water signs are different, but they mesh well – like watering a garden. Both Taurus and Cancer tend to be homebodies, and they value comfort and luxury. A Netflix and chill night with surround sound and silk sheets sounds like the perfect date for both these signs!

Like Taurus, Libra is ruled by Venus, so these two share an appreciation for the finer things in life, and they also have a major romantic streak. These two are always down for a date night at a fancy restaurant or a cocktail-making class.

On the other hand, Scorpio is Taurus’s opposite on the zodiac. But you know what they say about opposites – they attract! Although these two have very different personalities, they’re both grounded, loyal, and give their all to their loved ones.
